How Do I Upgrade My Blackberry Operating System When I Use A Mac?

April 14, 2009

I use a Blackberry and sync it on a Mac using Missing Sync. But how do I upgrade to the latest OS using a Mac? (I have no PC access.)

With most non-Microsoft operating systems you can find compatibility software that will allow you to use windows programs. I don’t know what software is available for macs but wine for linux may have a mac variant

Not possible the Blackberry states it is NOT compatible with the Mac in any manner.
even data transfer need an anauthorised 3rd party solution (missing sync).
For Mac supported devices you need to go Apple iPhone or Palm Treo and Centro models (only the one running the Palm OS and not Windows Mobile).
You Must get a Windows OS to do this if you have a INtel Mac you can use OS 10.5 (Leopard) and install a separate booting partition with windows for the devices that refuse to support the Mac even though its possible !
