If you have ever tried unsuccessfully to update the Operating System software on your BlackBerry you may have been left with a dead device that won’t turn on (un-officially classed as “bricked”!).
BMcClure from CrackBerry Forums has posted a great guide on best practice for performing the update successfully. There are two actually, one for beginners and one for more advanced users.
