I’m really stuck, i’ve looked on the blackberry website for help and through the booklet that came when i bought the phone but whenever i try to set up the internet it says the server is not responding, can anyone help me?

My husband wants a Blackberry Pearl for Christmas but doesn’t want to be locked into a contract with any service provider. Can you actually buy a handset with a pay as you go sim whilst still getting the full Blackberry functions and capability. I have searched everywhere on the net and can only find contract options.
Also, if it is possible to purchase just the handset, do you know the cheapest place in Edinburgh to buy one?

Is there a general time frame for how long a mobile carrier has a phone exclusively? In this case, Vodafone’s lock on the Blackberry Storm? I know there are instance like the iPhone that are exclusive to O2 until…well, who knows when.

I send, alot of texts, and want a good memory, enough to store, my pictures and music etc.
Not, too bothered about a camera, but if there is one, that’d be a good bonus
I prefer, a Blackberry in black or red. The Blackberry pearl is too slim, i’d prefer a wider one. I like the look of the 8800, but don’t know anything about it.
Any recommendations? Please include prices. Im from the UK.

I put a date in my BlackBerry – let’s say a meeting at 2pm. When I sync with my Yahoo calendar it puts the time in Yahoo at 3pm. The same thing works in reverse so the BB and Yahoo calendar are never consistent. The date and time in my BB is set correctly so any ideas?

How (or where in London) can I unlock a (Rogers) Blackberry Pearl?
I bought a Blackberry Pearl in Canada which is locked into one of their networks called Rogers.
I live in London and would like to use the phone with my T-Mobile simcard!
Is it possible to unlock the phone myself, or are there any shops anywhere in London (Zones 1-2) that can do this for me??

I have been given a blackberry without a sim card. Would I be able to use a normal vodafone pay as you go sim card (like you’d get in a mobile phone) to access web and emails on the blackberry, or do I have to buy a special sim card?
