Is my Mail also syncronisedd ith my BLACKBERRY?

I Have Transferred Files From My Blackberry To My Laptop But Cannot Seem To Open The File On My Laptop?

I have a Blackberry and have transferred files using Backup & Restore Blackberry File Manager and although I can see the files in recent items on my laptop I cannot open them as they are IPD files. There must be a simple way to access these files. Can anyone help me please? I am not greatly literate on the computer.
