My husband wants a Blackberry Pearl for Christmas but doesn’t want to be locked into a contract with any service provider. Can you actually buy a handset with a pay as you go sim whilst still getting the full Blackberry functions and capability. I have searched everywhere on the net and can only find contract options.
Also, if it is possible to purchase just the handset, do you know the cheapest place in Edinburgh to buy one?

I have a blackberry pearl 8100 but i have lost the software disc that came with it. I am trying to download the blackberry desktop software, but i don’t know which version i need to download off the blackberry site, whenevr i download one it tells me i need different software installed to make it work. i have been tearing my hair out for a while with this, would really appreciate some help

I have a Blackberry and have transferred files using Backup & Restore Blackberry File Manager and although I can see the files in recent items on my laptop I cannot open them as they are IPD files. There must be a simple way to access these files. Can anyone help me please? I am not greatly literate on the computer.

My Blackberry keeps playing up so my service provider is replacing it. However i want to backup all of my files inc my contacts as last time i lost them all.
What is the best way to do it? I have tried saving it to the memory card and downloading straight onto my desk top but had no joy.
